CPG discovers video

Consumer goods companies, who have been slow to use the Web for advertising are falling in love with video. Nike just achieved nearly 8 million views with his soccer ad in the past week:



Evian later this year created traction with the famous baby ad:



Indeed the largest spenders in video are starting to resemble the largest spenders in TV, such as Procter & Gamble, Kraft and Unilever. Partly as a result of this interest video grew by 41% in 2009, a year in which advertising budgets were cut.
