According to Tech Crunch, the first instagram ad has been spotted.
About a month ago, Instagram announced that it would start running 'sponsored' photos and videos on the app, but it was unclear how and when we would see them. The first instagram advertisement comes to us from designer Michael Kors. It is posted as a regular instagram picture, but what is different about it, is that it is showing up in the newsfeeds of people who do not even follow Michael Kors. The picture does however, have a 'Sponsored' label on it. Instagram also states that users will be able to provide feedback on the ads by clicking on the three dots below the pictures.
