Adobe's entry into streaming media market

Today, Adobe anounced the launch of Adobe TV and its Media Player, an air-based player and high definition video site. Adobe Media Player is available for various operating systems, such as Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. It also supports more file formats than Windows Media Player and Real Player, with higher quality video than those on YouTube. The player is in development process, hoping to offer user-friendly interface and promising many famous series, such as CSI and Star Trek, on Adobe TV.

With its feature to customize the look, the Player creates new channel to dynamic advertising for targeted marketing campaign. This feature will customize the look of the Player to match with the brand of the contents on show. Users can also subscribe to a series, download and share the contents on their blogs.
