Google Buzz - the new buzz?

Is Google Buzz the new buzz? Google seems to constantly keep coming out with new programs and this is their new venture to enter the space of Facebook and Twitter.

It allows you to share thoughts, ideas, pictures and more with people you are connected with. Will it succeed?

I don't think so - the people you connect with on email is a bit different from ones you connect with on social networks. Also, not everyone you know used gmail which makes it harder to participate in the Buzz... There are also some flaws built into the program - new comments on a post or conversation are automatically popped to the top so it seems only a small group of people are at the top of the Buzz list. Another thing is this just feels to personal as it is embedded in your email - I believe email should be simple and this may just make things complicated.

Another venture was Google Wave - not so sure where that is going to go.. I think Google needs to do more market research before releasing these new products to the market.
