The Ipad may not be so bad after all

Ever since apple has announced the release of their Ipad, the market has seemed to speak negatively of the technology saying, "that it was just a bigger version of the itouch." This may be true, however, I believe the emergence of the Ipad is going to do a lot of good for the growth of digital media and the Internet.

I am writing in response to an article entitled, " Apples effect on content partners: More good then Bad." This article speaks to the our class discussion on the growth of disposable games and other digital media. The Ipad is giving many of these developers a platform to disseminate many of their gaming products. An opportunity to re grow and restore their dying companies; as laptops and desktops were not an appropriate home for these applications.

Many experts believe that the supplantment of Laptops with the Ipad, in homes and offices will help boost innovation and success in the digital media space; particularly in the disposable gaming and application sector.

Therefore, although many may not believe that the Ipad is the next greatest invention; I believe that its ability to foster growth in the digital media space will be very impactful and helpful for innovation in the US and abroad.

The Ipad will serve as a new medium for many entrepreneurs to gain the exposure they need with consumers and better understand their target market.
