Get More Likes via Email

Once you get followers on your signup page, tell them who you are. By giving them more information about your company or product will incentivize them to sign up and will trigger curiosity for your brand and what you have to offer. It is also helpful to facilitate their signup through the use of social media. This way, they won’t have to spend too much time filling out all of the information and can get straight access to your newsletters or to becoming a registered user.
Secondly, the author wisely encourages to not go around asking consumers for your likes. Nobody does this in real life, it is just weird, why do they think that it is acceptable online. Instead, offer value by asking questions or stimulating feedback and discussions. By feeling intrigued they will be more likely to join your group or become a fan.
Third, your email messages and signup page have to be mobile friendly. Many are checking their emails from their phones all day long. By allowing them to open your emails and then interact and include you in their options, you will be able to see an increase in participation in social media. You want consumers to be able to manipulate and check and share your emails with no obstacles. Make emails simple and include interaction opportunities (e.g. links to social media).
Include and invite link to social media discussions/conversations, and make sure that you are directing them to an evolved conversation that they can be interested in.
Give your registered email list or your VIP members some preferred treatment. Given that they decided to take the journey with you, reward them and give them first offers or invites to events, first to hear news, etc.
There are many tactics and strategies out there. I believe that each product or service has its own personality and characteristics. It is important to use common sense and see yourself as a user in order to determine what would work best. Following advice and views of people or companies who have succeeded is definitely a good idea, however, it would work best to include some of your perspective and ideas into the mix in order to create your strategy for each email campaign. Customize it to the point that serves your purpose, there is such a thing of over personalization which comes at a high price. Also, know your target and how to segment it. Again, try it out, play with the interfaces and the emails. See how they are received in your phone and on your friends’ phones.  Don’t assume that one played out and successful email strategy will work forever. Customers who open emails are looking for something interesting and catchy. If they receive the same emails and content, they will begin to delete them, slowing down your integration and efficiency.
