Keep Up With New Trends - The Digital Marketer Crisis

BusinessWeek came out with a short article this week that highlighted a key problem that Digital Marketers are currently facing: a lack of information in where new technologies are going and how consumers will be interacting with media in the future. Innovation is growing so rapidly that digital marketers are constantly having to shift strategies in order to keep up with the current trends. Aaron Shapiro, from Huge agency, wrote an article in Upstart this week about where he thinks digital trends are headed in the near future. Beyond mobile being his main focus, he also believes that advertising will be more interactive and voice controlled, much like Apple's Siri. The article states,

"Instead of outdated in-store kiosks, he envisions more web-enabled touchscreen interfaces with voice control that allow users to avoid touching grimy flat-panel surfaces."
