Is it a good marketing investment on Facebook for small business?

The product and services offered to businesses on Facebook bring opportunities but corresponding limitations at the same time. (1) Whether the function can fully accommodate business’ marketing needs. There are more for FB to improve. Eg, the “claimed” offer dose not necessarily mean the user have redeem it; the current applications have few integration points. Developers cannot know all the statistics about the Page such as users visiting the page, or photos are being posted. It could be very helpful if FB can provide a full access to business where they can gather all the information they need and fully control their own page. (2) Whether it offer a fair platform for small business:  big companies have huge amount of followers, many alternatives if FB marketing dose not perform well, but for small companies, the platform provided by FB may not be fully functioned for their marketing purpose. Eg. FB prohibits to use third party tools, it may be a problem for small business that rely on third party to save time and improve efficiency. Further more, the premium ads which targeting to large companies with high price is what actually the small business interests-clicks and leads and sales which based on cost-per-impression deals.
