Interesting article on the NYT – about how the lock screen might become the
new “news feed”. Apps more and more fight for the lock screen space, trying to
overcome the fact that users might never open an app after they download it. A
new wave of apps tries to simplify it and make it to lock screen so the user
can have access to it without ever going to the home screen.
It also mentions that future versions of iOS might allow users to reply and
further interact from the lock screen.
