As more searchers visit a web, the quality score will increase so that the website might have larger chance to show on the first page of a searching engine.

Second, a website could become popular through SEM. Since SEO procedure sounds very tedious and might take very long time, SEM might be a good alternative. Every search engine would provide some space for those websites, which pay for showing on the first page. Therefore, organizations could pay for making their website showing on the first page of a search engine based on their budget.

Both SEO and SEM are good method starting up a website. However, attracting searchers to click on a website is just a start of success. A website should also have good design so that it can provide searcher good value and become sustainable.
