Spotify

Today I'm writing this post to make you aware of a new way of listening to music. Spotify is an online music service, already available in some Europeans countries and it will soon be launched in the USA.

www.spotify.com

Its similar to Pandora as it is online and you can choose the type of music you want to hear (it also has the annoying commercials if you decide not to pay the 10 euros per month to have the spotify premium service), but with Spotify you can choose exactly which song to play each time (not just a genre or music similar to a particular song you like...).

Its simple: Any track you like, any time you like. Just search for it in Spotify, then play it. Any artist, any album, any genre - all available instantly. There are no limits to the amount of music you could listen to.

If you get the premium service, you can use it in any country so I use it everyday during my long library hours (=D) @ business school...

Amongst many of its incredible features, there is Facebook music sharing:
If you’re on Facebook, you can share music with your friends by sending them links to your tracks or playlists. Drop the link into a message, or right-click and share direct to Facebook.

You can also import your friends lists from spotify and listen to their music:
This feature will allow you to share music with a quick flick of the wrist. Once you’ve imported your Facebook friends into Spotify, you can drag and drop music straight onto their names.

Your Facebook friends who have already imported their own friends into Spotify will appear as a live stream. View their top lists, interact and drop as much music on them as you like.
