Skype app for iPhone
Skype has just released a new application for iPhone.
With this new application, users will be able to make phone calls using the Skype VOIP system directly through their iPhone. The new feature is that it will be possible to make phone calls using the 3G network. Before, it was possible to use the Skype application only with the Wi-Fi internet access. For the launch, Skype has decided to give the application for free. From the end of 2010, there will be a monthly fee.
Thanks to the application, it is possible for users to call other phones with the usual Skype plan or to call PCs/iPhone for free. The application works also on iPod touch 2G.
This is really a great news for who has an iPhone. Having the opportunity to make calls totally for free from everywhere (not only from internet cafes or places where there is a Wi-Fi network) is awesome...
... I am still wondering why I chose a Blackberry instead of an iPhone....
