Digital Marketing Investing Considerations
Having lived with a private equity investment in the digital marketing space, if I have learned one thing, it is that the digital marketing landscape is constantly evolving and extremely competitive. Companies in the space must continue to innovate, as the product life cycle is generally under one year. Our company has to be at the forefront of innovation in order to compete and provide value to our customers. We have to provide excellent service whenever we win a customer as well. Competition in the space is also fierce, as the large players (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) can throw a significant amount of resources and engineers at a problem and can attract top talent. Culture can help combat the competition and need for innovation investment considerations.
