iTunes mysteriously loses Amazon's Music App

Does it surprise anyone that the Amazon Cloud Player iPhone app has "somehow" disappeared from iTunes? Hardly.

Despite the recent news that this actually happened, and Apple has not yet admitted it and has blamed the glitch on transfer and communication issues, this is hardly a surprise. Microsoft and Apple have been playing these games with each other's devices and operating systems for years, and to this day, it remains difficult to view Adobe PDF files and related Adobe files on Apple products due to the challenge in a smooth deal between Apple and Adobe Systems. So while this news about Amazon's Cloud player has actually become "news" is not a shock and in fact, provides a bit of humor to my day. Another recent article discussed the potential that Jeff Bezos may be driving Amazon to be the next true innovator of ideas, gadgets, and future-focused technology since the unfortunate recent passing of Steve Jobs. Amazon is poised to become a bigger player in the space in the next 5-10 years, and while Jobs' corporate culture and legacy will remain at Apple for a long while, it remains to be seen if new Apple leadership can instill the same kind of focus on innovation in the corporate culture throughout the firm.
