You "downthe" Tube?
In response to flood77 - this morning I saw the Times "Ten Biggest Tech Failures of the Last Decade" (http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1898610_1898625,00.html?cnn=yes) - and was shocked to see YouTube listed - It's argument being that Google won't make back its $1.64 billion it spent to buy YouTube. Seems like an interesting contradiction to the New York Times article by Brian Stelter (in our readings - and from Dec 08) who states some amateur videographers are raking it in - I would suspect Google gains some return from ad placements. It is not enough? Do you think YouTube should really be clumped in with the other obvious failures on the list?
