Welcome to 2012 and goodbye to your large
grants and wealthy donors. The funding
landscape is only going to get more competitive. If your non-profit
organization is not leading its fund raising efforts with a strong crowd funding
campaign, you should not expect to be around in a few years. While crowd funding is frequently used for
for-profit ventures, the real jewel is having your staff (everyone and I mean
everyone... from the janitor to the CEO) connect their social network to your
organization.
