Kiosked is making shoppable video content possible

Shoppable Video
Being able to shop directly from editorial content and video is becoming the new norm, and the success that technology companies have garnered in this space proves it. Kiosked, a start-up out of Finland, recently received $6.9 million in funding for their technology that facilitates purchasing directly from a picture or video clip.

The benefit of technology like this is the ability to link advertisers’ products to relevant online content. Example: for Nike, a short video clip of Kobe Bryant’s dunks links to the product page of the Nike's he's wearing.

MonetizationKiosked charges advertisers an average of 10% per transaction, and they pass half of that back to the content-sharing party. They also charge 1-5 cents when a customer clicks into the store to get more information on the product.
