PepsiCo decides to further explore potential of online sales

PepsiCo, admitted they had to change their focus and concentrate more on online sales. After seeing a decline of 7% on beverage sales in the previous period (due to the close of restaurants), Pepsi now saw an increase of 3% due to a shift in focus to online sales that are booming because people are buying much more from home. PepsiCo CEO goes even further as to say that “The penetration of ecommerce or e-grocery just accelerated by three years.
