More Impatience Means SEO More Important

More and more, searchers demand great results. If it's not on the first page or two... it's off to a new search. This according to a Jupiter research study reported on by eMarketer.

This is interesting for two reasons. One people are even becoming impatient with a medium that offers pretty immediate gratification. So if you search for something particular, you want that particular thing to show up as one of the first few options... or else. Or else it's time for a new search... and all those ads on pages 3-42 are ineffective.

So if the 1st and 2nd pages of search results are becoming more and more important, then the value of the ads featured are going to increase, and the value of the ads on later pages... well, those will be virtually worthless. So the importance of SEO, above and beyond ad placement, continues to grow - and could ultimately the one and only way to get a high response rate!
