Nokia Offers Free Music

I found an article that caught my eyes. Nokia announced that it
will offer free 12-month access to music from artists of Sony BMG, the world's second-biggest label, to buyers of its particular music phones, the world's top cellphone maker . . .
In my opinion, this seems as a way for Nokia to compete with iPhone, but the article seems to see a bright future in the music industry.

Such unlimited download models could offer a shot in the arm to the music industry, which is struggling to find ways to make up for falling CD sales.

Since users will be able to keep the music they have downloaded, Sony BMG would need to keep up with providing better music after the 12-month period.
