How Blank Display Ads Managed to Tot Up Some Impressive Numbers

How would you rate a .08% click-through rate on 500,000 ads? It depends on who you ask. It would certainly be better for a brand campaign than a direct response one. Now, add another factor. What if you were told that the ad being clicked on was blank? And then find out that only 50% of those that clicked on, answered that it was by mistake!
Human beings are an incredibly sophisticated species. The data on this experiment suggests that only 4 out of 10,000 clicks are unintentional. That leaves us with a myriad of other options; curiosity, impulsiveness, and more.
Pricing varies for CPC, CPM, and CPA. Think hard before deciding where and how to allocate limited resources. Clicks can be good, likes are better, why not go for love? Algorithmic data has yet to completely explain the intricacies of human nature.
