Uber may soon return to Germany. More popular than ever.

Uber may return to operate freely in Germany. The reason? The matter is not urgent enough to justify a ban. Judge Frowin Kurth, from the Frankfurt court of appeal, lifted the ban previously placed on the operations of Uber, claiming that "although we believe Taxis Deutschland has its reasons for asking to stop Uber, this case is not urgently enough". In other words, Uber may thus be allowed to return to Germany soon.

All over Europe, Uber is fighting a real war against taxi drivers, who try to defend a consolidated position in a regulated market. Recently, protests against Uber were held in London, Paris, Berlin, Milan and Madrid.

Given the recent developments in Germany, however, it seems that in that country the California-based company will ultimately be able to benefit form the hostilities it has been facing since its arrival there. Indeed, the protests and the judicial issues generated massive interest from the public opinion and led to a substantial increase in the popularity of the app which, thanks to the new ruling, could be soon used by even more customers than before.

There is no such thing as ad publicity.
