While searching the web today around news of digital
marketing, I identified a few trend that are going to shape the future of
digital marketing.
First, real-time data will become increasingly more vital
to improve the effectiveness of digital marketing. The need for real time
information is going up. The ultimate goal is to change from recording data to
modifying the system in real time and consequently which allow buyers to tailor
bids and ads, impression by impression, across a wide range of ad spaces.
Second, digital marketing will be revolutionized and become more customized
based on user data. User data will become the key to keep digital marketing
customized to the lives of specific customers. For example, the location and
information such as what time of day customers are accessing something and the
identity of the customers are used in marketing tools to tailor the
advertisement. Lastly, Apps are adding new ideas of services and marketing.
Apps such as Nike Run are interacting with customer’s daily life and providing
services for the customer. This raise awareness of the brand and makes customer
more loyal to the brand.
