Firefly will revolutionize the world

As all of you certainly know, Jeff Bezos has just showed off the new and first Amazon Smartphone, the Fire Phone.
It is clearly an incredible piece of technology with incredible specs and incredible innovations (and I'm sure Amazon will sell thousands units), but there's one thing that really struck me: Firefly.

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Firefly is a technology through which the smartphone recognizes whatever (with some limitations of course) the user frames with the camera and it's able to take actions on that. For example, you can frame text on a poster or a magazine and instantly you have the chance to call the number, purchase the product, save it on your wishlist, etc.

Of course most of that is possible because of Amazon unlimited catalogue and services (IMDb for example) but still, it looks truly revolutionary to me.

What if that becomes the new industry-standard?
Digital marketers focusing on the online world (e-commerce and similar) will have to forget display, search and social advertising and start doing something revolutionary as well: go back to 50 years ago and fill cities with posters and products that people is able to frame with the camera!
I look forward to that!!!
