What Does Pinterest Mean for the E-Commerce Space Moving Forward?

Pinterest is exploding and E-commerce sites must be quick to make their online stores Pinterest compatible. Online retailers have started to integrate Pinterest into their product pages and if this is done successfully, products will be organically shared by users and provide retailers with free advertising.  Pinterest is quickly approaching Facebook’s as the primary social referring site to retailers. In Q2 referral traffic from Pinterest is up to 2,535% year over year. Pinterest is continuing to create awareness and given that Pinterest traffic is free there is little downside to ecommerce sites making their websites Pinterest compatible.
