Email is still in the house.

The digital marketing landscape is changing at an ever-increasing speed. With increased activity in the mobile platform with regards to CRM as companies are increasingly attempting to tap into the market of connecting retailers with consumers in a better way, email as a medium to do so may seem to start sounding archaic (though it will be awhile before this may happen) but the article below shows that email has no signs of going down. In fact, email marketing appears to show strong growth.

It appears that many retailers are still making the move from direct mail and print to email for marketing purposes. This makes sense especially as e-commerce increases in developing markets, especially Asia. As the more developed economies move towards the mobile platform for marketing, email may still be a new and booming frontier for many developing markets.

This is a good sign for companies that provide email capabilities such as Listrak that enable brands to track customers and where they lie on the buying cycle.
