The digital marketers surveyed (4,000 across roles and regions) reported ROI in:
- Social media marketing: 75% of respondents reporting social media generating ROI, with Facebook noted as the most effective social channel.
- Email marketing: 8 out of 10 respondents said email is core to their business marketing strategy. 50% said it is directly related to their primary revenue source.
- Mobile marketing: 77% of markets who use movile as part of their marketing strategy said mobile actively generates ROI.
Given the strong returns digital marketing is generating and the central role it plays in a company's marketing strategy, 72% of respondents said they will increase their spending on marketing tools and technology in the next two years.
