So I have had an idea for about two years to import handmade Afghan rugs through a friend who lives in London. I was speaking to Professor Kagan about it, and my concerns with making sure that I had something viable before investing money. He replied that using Shopify, I could build an online store and start. I just logged onto the website and saw that there is a 14 day free trial. Amazing. The barriers to entry in the business world, or at least the ones I was most concerned with, are evaporating. What an amazing opportunity. I hope to join lean launchpad next semester and sort out the details.
