Corona and the Ad business

In times of quarantine, this is going to be a great experiment regarding online advertisement.
Two opposing forces will be in action. On one hand, everybody else is locked home and probably consuming more internet than ever but on the other hand, because a lot of businesses are lockdown there will be fewer companies wanting to advertise during this period of crisis.
I believe the correct answer is it depends. For some industries, this will be a unique opportunity to reach out to their consumers and position their brands as a force of good and at the same time, some other vendors know their shops will be closed for a while and now is the time to save money to try to keep the business running after the quarantine is over.
The future overall will depend on how fast the economy bounces back because in the ned the virtual economy depends on the success of the real economy.
