There are a lot of memorable MasterCard's "Priceless" commercials on television. A youtube search showed there are over 1200 commercials. Granted some of them maybe duplicated and several years old but I'm sure most of us have seen at least one of those commercials. The first Priceless campaign ran in 1997 during the World Series and gained a lot of traction for many years afterward. Once in awhile, I would see the campaign on television but they are not as frequent as they used be.
A recent article on mashable.com - MasterCard Rewards Facebook Places Checkins in New "Priceless" Campaign shows that MasterCard is slowly adapting to a new channel of advertisement, social media. MasterCard needs to be a little quicker on following the new trend because companies like American Express has been very active in pursuing this new channel of engaging with their card members. I look forward to seeing more of the clever "priceless" campaigns MasterCard has to offer and I hope their campaigns are as memorable or "priceless" as the ones they have shown on television.
