Apparently the Old Spice campaign had a huge effect on other marketers.
So successful was the campaign that now Dairy Queen products has invented a new character which resembles too much to the Old Spice character. As one You Tube viewer commented: "Look at your commercial, now back to mine. Now back to your commercial, now back to mine. Did you just rip off my commercial? Yes, yes you did."
