A brilliant Facebook Marketing campaign - But is it allowed?

This is an example of creative ways of marketing via Facebook without having to use the traditional Facebook channels. The quick summary of it is : Olla Condoms company in Brazil decided to warn adult male to use condoms to avoid "unexpected pregnancy". Instead of going through the regular Facebook ad (which we can argue nobody ever clicks), they decided to create profiles of the "not yet born sons" of guys by tacking a Jr to their name, and then sending a friend request to these individuals. To ones surprise, when they see go to the profile, they see the ad from Olla condoms. I think it's brilliant.

One problem however, tactics like these raise red flags for Facebook and their privacy policy and will get shut down, but it is an indication of things to come. Marketers will always get creative to stand out, we all will be watching how Facebook handles the creativity.
