In addition customers can manage their preferences on what tweets to post at the top of their page. Twitter feels confident that this "selective promoting" will assist brands to speak to engaged audiences. However, if one is selecting a certain tweet to be posted first above other brands and friends, will certain advertisers now be able to reach NEW potential audiences? Either way seems twitter is attempting to follow FB's lead on monetizing the site. Must be working. Twitter has signed up 21 large partners such as Dell and Hp for the moepnetized enhanced sites.

Twitter continues to "try" to be Facebook
Recent updates to Twitter, available on both the mobile and web versions, Will allow customers to embed their tweets on blogs and other websites yet again blurring the lines between social media platforms. Which mechanism does one use? Facebook? Twitter and Facebook? At what point is there so much overlap between socials media platforms that brands may now be over saturating their customers?
