IMA introduced the International Executive Council


According to the Wall Street Journal (July 15Th), the Internet Marketing Association (IMA) announced that it has assembled an According to the Wall Street Journal (July 15Th), the Internet Marketing Association (IMA) announced that it has assembled an International Executive Council for the Internet marketing community. In particular Matthew Langie, director of product marketing, Adobe Inc. and member of the board of directors, IMA stated:
"Our industry is expanding, crossing every continent and industry sector with unprecedented transformational change. The purpose of the International Executive Council is to better understand cultures, standards and policies as they relate to the global Internet Marketing industry”
IMA reported that the objectives of the IMA International Executive Council will be:
-Introduce IMA to leaders in all fields that touch Internet marketing
-Represent IMA with international businesses, governments and universities
-Advise IMA on international cultural and business issues and opportunities
-Bring in investors and supporters around the world
-Connect nations around the central topic of Internet marketing
-Help create global standards for the Internet industry
I think that this new organism will allow to better understand cultures, standards and policies as they relate to the global Internet Marketing industry for the Internet marketing community.
