Great article on using social media to retain customers

Harvard Business Review claims that 91% of small businesses do nothing to retain customers, which is a lethal mistake for businesses that struggle to keep customers while paying a premium to find new customers. Social media sites like Foursquare are incredibly inexpensive alternatives to traditional marketing efforts and may go a lot further to keep a business connected to existing customers than some people think.
