The Power of Social Marketing

In this latest Ad week article proves the intimate and intense power of social, even over traditional. Two stats that stood out to me were 1) that a viral SNL video of Mathew McConaughey Linclon movie actually significantly increased consumers impressions of the movie, higher than their current marketing efforts were doing.

the second is of the importance of hashtags and locations that respectively showed 12.6 more engagement and 79% greater when a location tag was added.
