Too much online. Can everyone take it?

Too many choices on the internet, in the app store, online, email accounts, blogs, and more. We are being absorbed by our phones, tablets, and computers. We are always waiting for the next big thing, the new releases, the fresh developments. But can we really juggle it all? Some people wake up to podcasts while they shower, and check their 8 email accounts on their way to work. Many complain that there is still no service on the subway alleging that they would be able to get work done during the time they spend on trains. They are always connected, checking the 10 or more blogs they like, they're Twitter incoming messages beep by the minute, they seem to be connected all day and when they aren't they are obsessively thinking about it.
Others can't seem to grasp it all. Overwhelmed by the many options and information they feel as if they are stuck under the crazy clutter and decide not to embrace this technological madness.
What they don't understand is that these tools are not for everyone and there is someone out there developing sites or apps for every taste and liking. I believe that mostly eeruone has become tech savvy or at least to the point where they can manage a few accounts. What is needed however is some guidance for those who do not yet know what to pick to use. Many developers and digital marketers could benefit by the overwhelmed crowd who has decided to lay back and not participate due to all the confusion.
