Last year's mobile sales during the holiday season accounted for 16% of total online sales - this year, this figure is set to rise to 20% according to IBM's latest study.
In addition, 65% of shoppers are planning to 'webroom' - browse online before hitting the high street compared to 63% of shoppers planning to 'showroom' - browse in store then look for deals online according to Accenture's Holiday Shopping survey.
