Barça, football club

Brand recognition is key for football (or soccer) teams. A strong brand enables them to ask for higher prices for sponsorships, sell more t-shirts, tickets, and thus, be able to buy stronger/better players and have the upper hand in matches to become a winning team.

Barca has been expanding their content strategy and this week announced they reached a million followers in TikTok, and that they're coming out with a new TV docu-series available to stream in one of their sponsor's platform (Rakuten) - and narrated by John Malkovich.

It is really interesting to see Barca strengthen their brand through partnerships with sponsors in a win-win strategy and to expand their reach in all media (they have over 77 million Instagram followers) to ensure they remain relevant and create brand loyalty across different generations.
