According to an article on
businessinsider.com, the SEO agency Micrositez Global based in Orlando,
Florida, announced that he intend to offer non-profit organizations and
charities a full 20% of their regular prices in order to help them succeed
online.
He stated that: “Many
non-profits and charities just don’t have the budget to compete with commercial
organizations on the web, it’s harder for them to challenge for the top spots,
we hope to make steps toward helping them redress that balance.”
Even if at first glance it could seem a very
honorable action, I think that this is just a “sly” move, to get attention in an always more
competitive market. What do you think?

I appreciate companies that offer discounts to non-profits and foundations. It's very helpful for organizations strapped for cash. As for the SEO company, it was probably a publicity move, but since it benefits everyone, I think this is positive overall.
