YouTube will now start asking you if you would like to connect to a Google+ account if you have one. I think this is a great idea all around. Comments will hopefully have more value when people know they are personally and publicly connected to them. The added feature would also be great for brands looking for potential brand ambassadors as well. YouTube followings would be yet another source for community building with real opinions and actions. There will always be those that prefer to have their comments masked, but then why make them at all?
