A lecture on how to build a kickass Internet Startup

Attached is one of my favorite geeky videos. It features Aaron Patzer, founder of Mint.com, giving the details of how he built an amazingly successful internet company and sold it to Microsoft for $ 170 M. I believe that one of the main lessons to be drawn from it is one idea which I am sure you have heard before: you don´t have to invent the wheel, you just need a great product that people want. In the case of Mint.com (which, by the way, I recommend you use if you don´t know it), there already was software to manage personal finance, but Mint´s product was clearly superior to the competition, and that´s the only way you can get a company like Microsoft to be interested in buying you out!
