Internet Radio Advertising



Internet radio providers are increasingly popular. Pandora itself commands 9 percent of total radio listening in the US. In terms of advertising, internet radio offers a stronger value proposition compared to traditional terrestrial radio because internet radio has both visual and audio components whereas terrestrial radio only has audio components. Recently, Pandora has attempted to provide streaming services for cars, since this medium accounts for 50 percent of ad revenue. Currently, 135 models from 26 different automobile manufacturers will have pre-installed Pandora services.
