A blog for students of Professor Kagan's Digital Marketing Strategy course to comment and highlight class topics. From the various channels for marketing on the internet, to SaaS and e-commerce business models, anything related to the class is fair game.

Blogger turned Fashion Guru
The Internet can really work wonders. Web 2.0 and user generated content can really change people's lives and careers. A blogger that I know of, Susie Bubble, is a person who experienced that change. She came up with her blog, Style Bubble, which is a blog where she would voice her thoughts and comment on her findings in the area of fashion. The blog was a hobby of hers, it was a channel for to express herself but people soon found out and it, as she describes, "took a life of its own". Her taste and eye for style was recognized and soon she was invited to fashion shows, (she is here in NYC for fashion week) and also fashion competitions (as a judge). Nowadays she is a well respected person in the fashion industry and her blog also led her to a job as the editor of a magazine in the UK (she was previously worked in advertising).
