True staying power

Ever on the pulse of pop culture, the Simpsons created a splash by changing its theme song intro to Kesha's Tik Tok.  Staying relevant and sharp since 1989, the 21-year old program is as relevant today as it was when it was founded (in the era of Web 1.0) - a feat since none of the characters have aged or emotionally developed in the last 21 years.  If this is the model, I look forward to a similarly long run by South Park, into the realm of Web 3.0 where Cartman can yell at me for getting lost on my geo-tracking smart phone (and also wonder why similar shows like Beavis & Butthead, Daria, and Ren & Stimpy didn't make it).
