Shopify lanched a new social commerce app called Sello.
This is an interesting move from the ecommerce provider Shopify. This move is not surprising given the rise we have been seeing towards social media ecommerce. Social network commerce gives the possibility of a lot more interaction between users, given that instant messaging can also be used.
This also implies a new business model for Shopify where it used to charge a fee or commission over sales, and now will leave payments between shoppers and business owners.
You can download the app at getsello.com.
