Looking for an interesting blog?

Time Magazine has recently released the list of top blogs for 2009. The list is quite differentiated, including blogs on variuos and unusual topics. Among the top ones, there are prevalently news-information and most famous blogs such as Talking Points Memo, Huffington Post, Metafilter, Freakonomics. The list continues with other focused more on spare time (BoingBoing) or IT-tech related, like Lifehacher or Mashable. A new entry of the 2009 list is Slashfood, a blog dedicated to food and recipeis. There are also blogs related to film/cinema (/Film and Generacion Y), music featured with comments and explanations of songs (Said the Gramophon), or science (Bad Astronomy). The topic differentiation continuses with a marketing oriented blog (Seth Godin's Blog), one covering advices for life in the countryside (Confessions of a Pioneer Womam), and a more scientific content (Bad Astronomy). Finally, if you are looking to improve personal motivation, your life or achieve particular goals, you should have a look at Zen Habits that claims to give useful advices to have success in life.

Parallel to the top 25 list, there is the top 5 overrated list. Time’s commets are interesting to read, quite harsh and colorful. The list includes TechCrunc, that just last year was instead rated as one of the most successful tech bogs. Created in 2005, in its origins TechCrunch, was considered the most popular blog in the Silicon Valley, but according to Time Magazine this blog hasn’t been able to consolidate and maintain its success and relevance. Among the other over-hyped blogs there are: PerezHilton, a gossip-trashy blog; DailyKos, a political Democratic driven discussion space; Gawker, also related to information and gossip on showbiz people and Jim Cramer’s Real Money, which now has become a paid service site available only to subscribers (and by the way who would be willing to for that is not clear).

Well, let’s see if “A little class on the internet” can make it in the top 25 for next year!
