Mutual Funds May Soon Tweet Their Performance

With social media becoming more and more prevalent as a way to get news and share stories, many large traditional institutions are feeling the pressure to join in on this social revolution. I came across this article that described how banks and mutual funds such as Bank of America, Fidelity, and Vanguard may soon be tweeting and posting their financial results and fund performance via twitter and Facebook. In an effort to reach out to a new generation of consumers, it is important for these institutions to use these new social methods to get their brand out.
