Tech and business communities alike have loved debating issues of Facebook monetization, and this issue has become especially heated since Facebook's IPO this past summer. No one has truly figured out "F-commerce" yet, so it will be interesting to see how the startup Soldsie fares. Will it have great enough network effects to stick? Techcrunch reports that the platform "seems to work" since customers react more impulsively and quickly to auction-like purchases. I believe that there is still huge untapped potential for social commerce, and we might just see that an [apparently] easy-to platform like Soldsie will be the solution.
