H&M and Google+: Case Study

Although Facebook seems to be getting all the hype for social media marketing, H&M has been using the Google+ platform to reach out and interact with their customers. H&M is posting exclusive content on their Google+ website (https://plus.google.com/+HM) and integrating social extensions with its AdWords advertising has led to a 22% uplift in their CTR (Click through rate). With followers over 940,000 it looks like H&M hit the mark, but it remains to be seen how that will lead to an increase in purchases.
